Judging by this unanswered post I would say there is not that much activity in the Phoenix area.
I do know that there are many in the East Valley, north Mesa, Apache Junction, Tempe, Scottsdale, area that are working on getting a network together. I am at 52nd Street and Shea and only really have access to the east. I can see one node but cannot make a solid connection. I know there is also a node to the south of me blocked by mountains.
Maybe we can get this thread going again and find folks that are ready to make the Phoenix area hot with mesh nodes.
There a few of us in the Wickenburg - Congress area.
This morning we tested with success at 34 miles from Yarnell to Whitman. Telnet - 700mb file. IP phone from Yarnell to North Ranch (8 miles and MESH CHAT. NSM2s
South Scottsdale, here. I have a view of the Usery Mountain nodes, but can't maintain a solid connection (I have a feeling I'm about ten degrees north of the sector facing southwest...)
I know there are a few others in East Mesa, but I can't see them for terrain issues. What're your major cross streets, N7RJN?
